The delightful story of the two dogs - Sam and Hedge Anyway you are probably wondering who the famous (well they are quite famous where we live) El Kiddos really are. Well they are the magnificent duo who live in my house – actually that is not quite true; really it is ‘our' house. Sometimes they do think it is their house and garden and they do object to some people and animals and thingies who come to visit even if they have been invited! Not that they are unsociable, just ‘picky'. So who are they? Well that's what this story is all about. (And it's about a lot of other things and thingies too.) But to begin with … Samantha, who is usually called Sam by her friends, is sensible and mature, very well behaved and very polite and then there's Hedge. Yep, there's Hedge … Hedge is well … Hedge, who is Hedge! There's nothing quite like him. He's not very old and he's not really rude and he doesn't really misbehave and he tries to be very kind and gentle and very funny and well … he's Hedge. (He often tries to show how athletic and brave and masculine he is but he has a habit of falling over and his tongue falls out; he drops things or he forgets what he is/was/or should be doing – he's just Hedge!) So here we go – the story of the El Kiddos… |
